The recent Booster Info Session offered a comprehensive overview of the services available to EU-funded projects, how and why to apply and featured a testimony by an EU-funded project benefitting from the services. For those who attended (and those who couldn’t), here are eight key takeaways we've selected from the event.

Booster was recently featured in the 2025 edition of the Projects to Policy Seminar, one of the European Commission’s Directorate General HOME’s flagship events, held earlier this month, offering a valuable opportunity for EU-funded projects to learn more about the tailored and free-of-charge support services that Booster offers.

Booster is a collaborative support service designed to mentor EU-funded project researchers grow their project’s impact and real-world application. The process is hands-on and co-creative: Booster experts bring tailored advice and tools, while beneficiaries remain at the centre of the journey.

Turning research findings into tangible benefits has proven challenging for many EU-funded projects. While Europe is a global leader in generating high-quality research, there’s a well-recognised struggle to translate these findings into market-ready solutions - known as the “European paradox”. Booster’s Go-To-Market support service is designed to address this issue, helping researchers bridge the gap between innovation and impact.

On 22 November, the revamped and renamed Booster was officially launched at an exciting and fact-filled online event, hosted by the European Commission.

The event offers a glance at the valorisation ecosystem and examines the myriad of free-of-charge support services available for dissemination and exploitation activities.

One of the main challenges faced by the R&D community is converting their findings into valuable outcomes. Booster takes on this challenge by offering expert and personalised support to increase the added value of Research & Innovation (R&I) projects and bring them out into the world.

We are thrilled to announce that Horizon Results Booster (HRB) will take part in the upcoming Energy Fair of the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) in Brussels from June 11 to 13.

Horizon Results Booster has appeared in The Grant podcast. We talked about how we are helping researchers all around Europe to boost the impact of their research results.

HRB achieved a new milestone by delivering more than 800 services since its start in 2020.

Many projects developing different results, with no limits regarding result types, field of expertise or level of TRL are benefitting from HRB support.

18th May (15:00-17:03 CET) GeoSense is a cluster of four EU-funded projects, TURNkey, CRISIS, METIS and REDACt, which aim to mitigate the impact of earthquakes on society, industries, and infrastructures by improving the prevention and response capacity to those events.

7th April (9:30-12:00 CET) The CHaNce Cluster for Health & Nutrition solutions aims to support consumers, children, nutritionists, health professionals and companies operating in the health sector to successfully achieve this objective.

6th April 2022 (10.00 – 12.00 CET) - Presenter: Lars Münter - Danish Council for Better Hygiene The DISH Cluster aims to guide and support consumers towards a healthy and safe diet by improving their nutritional habits and food safety.

One year into the Horizon Results Booster, how are we doing? We’ve delivered 170 services to date, helping EU projects to achieve their dissemination and exploitation objectives.

The Horizon Results Booster consortium led by META Group and Ecorys is currently working on a study aiming to inform the future development of the European Knowledge Valorisation policy through a mapping of initiatives, policies and programmes in EU Member States and Associated countries.
